Public access to KBs
What is public access?
Public access is the searching of a KB by patrons. Patrons can search and view only those active records that have been marked for public access. Some record fields that are displayed for librarians are not displayed for patrons.
How do you mark a record for public access?
To permit public access to a KB record, click the record's Yes button for Make Public or Public Access.
To prevent public access to a KB record, click the record's No button for Make Public or Public Access.
Later, a KB editor may review your selection, and change it if necessary.
