Add or remove locations served

Use the Geographic Locations Served part of the profile to add or remove locations served. For help gathering the information, see Geographic Locations Served part of the profile

To go to this part of the profile, click the Institution Services tab on the Profile main menu and then click the Locs Served link below the tab.

How to add a location served

To add a geographic location served:

  Action Result
1 In the drop-down list box located next to the Add button, find a location that you serve. Note: You can use the following methods to find a location in the drop-down list box:

In the box located above the drop-down list box, type all or part of the location name and click the Search button. A location name matching your search term appears in the drop-down list box. If necessary, click the Search button again to search further. For example, if you type new in the box, you can find Papua New Guinea, Newfoundland, New Jersey, etc.

You can also scroll through the list in the drop-down list box to find a location. In general, locations are listed alphabetically by continent.

2 When a location that you serve appears in the drop-down list box, click the Add button. The location appears in the Locations Served box along with the GAC for the location.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each location that you serve.  
4 Click the Save button. The system saves the locations served.

How to remove a location served

To remove a geographic location served:

  Action Result
1 In the Locations Served box, select the location and GAC that you want to remove.  
2 Click the Remove button. The location and GAC are removed from the Locations Served box.
3 Click the Save button. The system saves any remaining locations served.
