What profile information should every library provide?

Every library should provide the profile information that the QuestionPoint system needs for general operation. The needed Profile information is listed on this page. Please provide this information even if your library is not submitting a completed profile now to participate in the Global Reference Network or a voluntary cooperative group.

Every Subscription Group (BME) administrator should also provide the administration information that the QuestionPoint system needs for general operation. The needed Administration information is listed on this page.

Profile information

On each of the Profile module pages listed below, provide or verify the needed information and click Save.

You can change pre-existing information as needed. For example, if your institution name appears in uppercase letters only, you can change it to upper and lower case letters.

You can also provide or change the information in any other fields that you wish.

Do not click the Submit or Requirements button for the QP Global Reference Network or for your group.

Institution Information

Go to Profile > Institution Services > Inst Info.

Provide your library's information for the following fields:

• Inst (Institution) Name
• State/Province
• Country
• Time Zone
• Daylight savings (Do you observe?)

Click Save.

Institution Contact Information

Go to Profile > Institution Services > Contact.

Provide your library's information for the following fields:

• Alert E-mail (an e-mail address for miscellaneous system notices)
• Library Type(s)

Click Save.

Administration information

If you are the Subscription Group (BME) administrator for your group, provide or verify the needed information on the Administration module page listed below and click Save.

Group Branding

Go to Administration > Subscription Group > Settings > Branding.

Provide your Subscription Group's name in the Short Name field.

Click Save.
