Citation fields: KB record
When you add a new KB record, you have the option to use the Source Citation fields to provide a citation for the source of the answer or for a source that could be consulted for further information.
These include all fields that are required for any ILL request.
You can provide one citation in these fields when you add a record. You can modify the content of all of these fields and add other citations and if you edit an inactive record or update an active record.

| Title | Title of the source; if the source is a journal article, enter the journal title here |
| Article Title | Title of the journal article, if the source is a journal article |
| Author | Author of the source |
| Publisher | Publisher of the source |
| Place Published | Location of the publisher of the source |
| Date Published | Date of publication of the source |
| Volume/Issue | Volume and issue of the journal in which the source is located, if the source is a journal article |
| ISSN | International Standard Serial Number of the journal, if the source is a journal article and the ISSN is known |
| ISBN | International Standard Book Number, if the source is a book and the ISBN is known |
| Alternate ID | Alternate identification number of the source; may be used to include unique IDs for various formats, such as music, video, etc. |
| Edition | Edition of the source |
| Pages | Page or page range, if the source is a journal article |
| Series Title Number | The title of the series in which the source was published and the source's number in the series |
| Sponsoring Body | Name of the institution, individual, etc. that sponsored the publication of the source |
