Go to a KB search page

You can search KBs in two QuestionPoint modules:

• Knowledge Base module
• Ask a Librarian module

Knowledge Base module

You can search KBs on either of two pages in the Knowledge Base module:

• Basic Search
• Advanced Search

Basic Search

Do any one of the following to go to the Basic Search page:

• Click the Knowledge Base link in the Knowledge Base Quick Links on the My QuestionPoint page.
• Select Knowledge Base in the Select Service drop-down list at the top of any QuestionPoint page.
• Click the Basic menu link under the Search tab in the Knowledge Base module.

Advanced Search

Do any one of the following to go to the Advanced Search page:

• Click the Advanced Search link in the Knowledge Base Quick Links on the My QuestionPoint page.
• Click the Advanced menu link under the Search tab in the Knowledge Base module.
• Click the Advanced Search link on the Basic Search page.

Ask a Librarian module

To search KBs for an answer to a question:

1. Go to the Full Question in the Ask a Librarian module.
2. Click the Answer button to view the Answer Question page.
3. Click the Search KB button.
   QuestionPoint displays the Basic Search page.
4. Enter a basic search.
   Or, click the Advanced Search link to enter an advanced search.
