Why can't
Librarians with View KB or Add/Submit access search by
Question ID?
View KB and Add/Submit access limits the account
holder search capabilities to keyword searches for viewing active "question/answer" pairs
only. Question ID searches allow the Librarian to view all "question/answer" pairs
regardless of status. A Librarian must have permissions to Edit
KB or Edit/Delete KB to perform question ID searches.
If you wish to withhold the Edit KB or Edit/Delete
KB capabilities for an account, set permissions to View KB or Add/Submit.
