Let institutions in your group refer questions to other institutions
in your group
Also covers: Prevent institutions in
your group from referring questions to other institutions in your
group
Available to group administrators only: Use
the following procedure to let all institutions in your subscription
group refer questions to other institutions in the group or to prevent
them from doing so.
Referral partners
Referral partners are institutions
in your group to which any institution in the group may refer a
question that it needs help answering. You control whether or not
your subscription group has referral partners and, if it does, you
choose which institutions are referral partners. You can select
every institution in your group to be a referral partner or just
some of them.
Notes:
- Default: If you take no action, any
institution in your group may refer a question to any other institution
in the group because the default value selects All institutions to
be referral partners.
- Active profile required: An institution must
submit a profile and you must approve/activate it automatically
or manually in order for the institution to refer questions to,
or receive questions from, other institutions in the group. For
more information, see
Specify
the profile approval method and required fields for your group.
- Selecting referral partners: If you want
to select just some institutions in your group to be referral partners,
you must wait until an institution's profile is active before
selecting it.
