Fields on Manage Passwords

If you are an institution administrator, Manage Passwords covers all of your library's accounts.

If you are a group administrator, Manage Passwords covers all accounts for all libraries in your group. You can use Manage Passwords in the Institution or Subscription Group section of the Administration module.

Areas of Manage Passwords

Area Definition
E-mail Password Send a forgotten password and authorization for an account to the e-mail address associated with the account.
Reset Password Set an account password back to the initial password assigned when the account was created and send that password and the account authorization to the e-mail address associated with the account.

Fields and buttons in each area

Field or button Definition
Authorization field and button Select an account in the list and click the Authorization button to e-mail or reset the account password.

The list is arranged in numerical order by authorization number (User ID).

Name field and button Select an account in the list and click the Name button to e-mail or reset the account password.

The list is arranged in alphabetical order by account name (not by last name).

E-mail field and button Select an account in the list and click the E-mail button to e-mail or reset the account password.

The list is arranged in alphabetical order by e-mail address.

Find and Find Next buttons Search for an account in a drop-down list.
