Question Form LinkThe Question Form Link page lets you provide links to your library's reference service in two places:

You can access the practice form using the Chat Patron Practice Form quick link on the My QuestionPoint page. Spam FilterThe Spam Filter page lets you set up spam filters for your library's QuestionPoint e-mail question form. Spam filters reduce the amount of spam added to your QuestionPoint account. E-mail question formUse the Choose Languages, Choose Form Fields, and Create Question Form links on the Forms Manager page to set up your library's e-mail question form. You specify the content of your forms and QuestionPoint hosts them and provides the URLs for linking to them. For instructions and more information, see Create your library's e-mail question form. Chat formUse the Chat Settings and URLs link on the Forms Manager page to set up your library's chat form after your Group/BME administrator creates the form. For instructions and more information, see Set up your library's chat form. Qwidget (QuestionPoint Widget)Use the Create Qwidget link on the Forms Manager page to set up your library's Qwidget (QuestionPoint Widget). When you add the Qwidget on your library web pages, patrons can easily access your chat service. The patron simply sends a message through the Qwidget if chat is available. For librarians, Qwidget sessions appear in the QuestionPoint chat monitor, along with patrons arriving via web-based chat forms. Upside Wireless text-messaging serviceAfter signing up with Upside Wireless and setting parameters inside their site as you want them, you can instruct QuestionPoint to get your text messages from Upside Wireless. Every two minutes, QuestionPoint polls the UW site to see if you have any text messages. For instructions and more information, see Set up access to text messages |
