Question/Viewport or Question Form LocationClick the Question/Viewport tab to go to the Question Form Location page. Set your library's Viewport URLWhen a chat session starts for a patron, a Web page appears in the Viewport (the right side of the patron's chat window). Use the Viewport URL box on the Question Form Location page if you want a different Web page to appear:
Practice Chat FormUse the Patron Chat Form page to add fields to your library's practice chat form. Access the practice form using its quick link on the My QuestionPoint page. Chat 2 (Preview) FormThe QuestionPoint team invites you to try Chat 2, now in preview. Chat 2 is a new patron chat interface available now for you to evaluate and offer to your patrons. The QuestionPoint team welcomes your comments and suggestions about it. The goals for Chat 2 patron interface are:
The Chat 2 (Preview) Form page contains the URL for your library's Chat 2 request form. You can use the URL to access the form yourself when you try the interface. And you can use the URL in links for your patrons if you decide to offer Chat 2 to them. You can use the Chat 2 request form instead of your current form. Or, you can make it available in addition to your current form. Monitor your primary queue in the current QuestionPoint Chat Monitor to pick up sessions requested using the Chat 2 request form. Spam FilterUse the Spam Filter page to set up spam filters for your library's QuestionPoint e-mail question form. Spam filters reduce the amount of spam added to your QuestionPoint account. Forms ManagerForms Manager lets you create: E-mail question form or chat formUse the Forms Manager page to set up your library's e-mail question form or chat form. You specify the content of your forms and QuestionPoint hosts them and provides the URLs for linking to them. For information and instructions about this, see Create your e-mail question form or chat form using Forms Manager. Qwidget (QuestionPoint Widget)When you add the Qwidget on your library web pages, patrons can easily enter your service. The patron simply sends a message through the Qwidget if chat is available. For librarians, Qwidget sessions appear in the QuestionPoint chat monitor, along with patrons arriving via web-based chat forms.
